A Czech woman is kidnapped in Berlin and forced into prostitution. The man behind the kidnapping is a respected businessman. He is on the wanted list, but so far nothing has been proven against him. This changes when a young female detective becomes involved in the investigation.

Detective Lea spent eight years in prison, convicted of murdering her mother. She is only released after her father confesses to the crime and takes his own life. But Lea doesn’t believe this version of events. Back at the Salzburg State Criminal Police Office, she searches for answers — a challenge within a police force that aims to keep the truth under wraps.
